THE HEART OF FRONTLINE PAWS

A life is a life.
Wherever it begins.

Some animals are born into conflict. Others are abandoned where help is almost impossible to find. None of them chose it.

Frontline Paws grew from hands-on rescue work in places affected by conflict and severe hardship. We help dogs and cats reach safety, receive care and find the right homes, wherever that journey takes them.

Behind it is Conchi, an independent rescuer supporting animals across countries alongside her work, with the help of people who open their homes and give their time.

A HOME CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING

Help write their
next chapter.

A foster home offers breathing room. An adoptive home offers a new beginning.

They have survived
so much.
Home should be next.

Dogs rescued from around military camps have made the journey from Somalia to care in Uganda. Finding suitable foster and adoptive homes is the next step.

GOOD QUESTIONS. HONEST ANSWERS.

A little clarity.
A meaningful first step.

Responsible rescue means taking the time to get things right.

Where does Frontline Paws work?

The rescue work spans Somalia, Mali, Qatar, Kenya and Uganda. Each country plays a different role: some are places of rescue, others provide care or a staging point for onward travel. Homes are considered according to each animal’s needs and the practical requirements of the destination.

How does adoption work?

The first step is an honest conversation about the animal and your home. Prospective adopters complete a questionnaire, discuss their experience and provide home photos or a video. Suitability, household members, other animals and a safe environment all matter. No placement or travel date is guaranteed before individual checks are complete.

Can I foster instead of adopting?

Yes. A suitable foster home can be an essential step towards adoption. The animal’s needs, your location, the expected period and the support arrangements should be agreed with the rescue team before a placement. Please be clear about any limits on the time or care you can offer.

Do rescued cats need secure homes?

Our approach prioritises indoor homes or secure catios, with safe windows and balconies. Blind cats must remain strictly indoors. The arrangements for any individual cat are discussed during the matching process.

What does being a flight buddy involve?

Share your planned route and dates first. If there is a suitable match, the rescue team can discuss the airline, animal-handling arrangements, documents and responsibilities with you. Please do not book or change travel for an animal before the arrangements have been confirmed.

Are there adoption or transport costs?

Costs depend on the animal, route and destination. Adopters may be asked to contribute towards arrival handling or transport. Any contribution and what it covers should be agreed in advance. This site does not collect payments.
