ADOPT, FOSTER OR HELP THEM TRAVEL

Adopt a rescued cat or dog

A lasting home begins with the right match. Frontline Paws helps cats and dogs affected by conflict and severe hardship find people who can meet their individual needs.

MOMENTS FROM OUR RESCUE ARCHIVE

Your adoption journey

Application → conversation → home photos or video → matching decision → written agreement and confirmed costs → travel → settling-in follow-up. Timing depends on the individual placement.

Start with the animal, and your everyday life

Read the available profiles for personality, current location and care needs. Consider your household, resident animals, time at home and access to veterinary care. Our available cats and dogs are ready to travel; the destination and journey are agreed individually.

What happens after you apply?

Use our adoption questionnaire to tell us about your home and experience. The team reviews your answers, discusses the animal with you and arranges a home check using photos or a video. An application starts a conversation; it does not reserve an animal or confirm a placement.

Prepare a secure home

Plan a quiet settling-in space and patient introductions. Tell us how you secure windows, balconies and outdoor areas. Each profile explains particular requirements: Grey, for example, needs a fully enclosed catio with direct access from the home.

Agree the practical details before travel

We discuss the individual animal’s veterinary information, destination requirements, timing, transport costs and adopter contribution before any commitment. Travel readiness does not mean a flight is booked or that every destination is possible.

Not ready for a lifelong commitment?

Fostering can offer a safe home for an agreed period. You can also support veterinary care, food or boarding, or share an animal’s profile with someone who could be a suitable match.
