An individual plan, not a fixed price
Costs depend on the animal, current country, destination and route. We explain the proposed contribution and any separate charges before you agree to proceed.
What preparation may involve
Veterinary assessment, vaccinations, microchipping, parasite treatment, neutering where appropriate, relevant laboratory tests, travel documents and a suitable carrier may be needed. The individual plan confirms what has been completed, what remains and who pays for each item.
Who pays for what?
Ask for a written breakdown of rescue-funded care, the adopter contribution, transport and destination handling. A contribution towards arrival handling does not mean that every veterinary or travel expense is included.
Before making a payment
Agree the total, recipient, payment timing, any deposit and the cancellation or refund terms before paying. Do not book travel or pay a third party until the arrangements have been confirmed with the team.
Donations and adoption contributions
A voluntary donation supports rescue work. An agreed adoption or travel contribution relates to a particular placement. We explain these separately; donating does not reserve an animal or influence a matching decision.
