Prepare for the first days
Arrange a quiet secure space, familiar food where possible and time to settle. Keep introductions to people and resident animals gradual. Ask the team about this animal’s routine and known needs before arrival.
Safety and veterinary care
Secure doors, windows, balconies and outdoor areas before arrival. Keep cats indoors during their initial settling-in period and follow the individual indoor or catio agreement. Discuss ongoing veterinary care and any medication with a qualified vet.
Keep in touch
Share updates and contact the team if you are concerned about settling in or behaviour. We will discuss what guidance is available; this does not replace veterinary care or guarantee round-the-clock support. For illness or injury, contact your vet promptly.
If your circumstances change
Contact Frontline Paws before selling, giving away or arranging another placement for the animal. We will discuss the situation and available options with you. Any return, collection, transport and costs must be agreed individually; an immediate space cannot be promised.
