Their story
Elara and Juan have been adopted. Elara was born in January 2025 and was rescued from the streets of Qatar just days before giving birth. Juan is her son, described as seven months old in this update. Their adoption appeals are now closed.
Elara can be shy at first, but becomes affectionate, gentle and loyal when she feels safe. She loves cuddles, play and being close to her people, and gets along well with other cats and children. Juan is confident, affectionate and extremely playful. He loves attention, cuddles and feline company, and purrs like a little motorbike.
Both were spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed, with their rabies antibody titre tests completed. Elara also tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Their rescue profiles specified indoor-only homes. After caring for her kittens through a difficult start, Elara now has her own happy ending to share, alongside the good news for Juan.
